Today I want to show you my favorite Call of Duty WAW custom zombies maps, so you guys can download them and have fun yourselves! I also want to show you some of the ways to download and install them, since its pretty difficult to do it the first time. I would also like to mention that this is only possible on PC, and only if you have on official CD or digital copy of the game. And tell me in the comments if you would like me to also show you how to play PC games with a PS/XBOX controller. Before I start, I quickly want to thank every single person who voted my Top 8 games list, since it really means a lot to me and it has motivated me to keep doing this, because I enjoy it, and if you enjoy it i´m happy.

So without further ado, let´s begin.I will start by showing you a few of my favorite maps. This does not mean that all the other maps are shit; in fact, there are some maps I love that I will not be including on here just for the sake of keeping this blog short. Also I don't prefer any of these maps over the other, so the ranking is just to orientate you. Ill leave a secure link of the map post, so you can see its features and download it! I will also paste a video of the map, so you can get an idea of it, BUT I don't take credit to any of these videos. You should check out the creators of the videos on YouTube!#1 Nacht Der Untoten Reimagined V2.1. The all classic MW2 multiplayer map Rust is brought back as the ultimate zombie slaying playground.

It has 11 perks (including Widows Wine); a ton of COD4, MW2 and MW3 guns; and just a fun/chill feel in general. Its one of those mas to lay back and have a nice time on, since its fairly easy and it has no perk limit (like most maps). If you're not such an experienced zombies player I recommend you download this map and train a little bit with it, so you can get a feel for the mode and try out some other more complex maps.Check it out here:#4 Stairway to Hell.

Stairway to Hell is a map that makes you heavily rely on your hording skills, since there are literally NO camping spots on this map, and the guns are not that powerful. Also there is NO WONDER WEAPON, so that's why you cant expect to demolish everything in front of you just like that. How this map works is you start in a rather big room, but with multiple spawns, the mystery box and Quick Revive.

You have to pay 2.000 points for the first door, which will open up a large staircase to the next level (floor). Every level has its own perk and spawns, but there are no wall weapons on this map, so you have to rely on the box in the first level. Once you activate the second level, every single next level will cost you +2.000 (except last ones which only cost +1.000); so for example level 3 costs 4.000 points, level 4 costs 6.000 points, and so on and so forth. This map has a lot of open space which makes it awesome to train/horde in and it is just fun and different, so that's what makes it special. There is an updated version which adds Widows Wine and the Thundergun, among other things, but I feel it takes away the challenge of the map, so I recommend playing the original version of StH.Check it out here:#5 Hotel V2.1. This is a rather challenging map to me.

It is really easy and chill when you set-up and get all your guns and perks; but the set-up itself is hard and challenging. This is a hotel, where there are 2 spawn windows in the basement, that's it, so every single zombie will come from the basement. Sounds easy right?

You spawn in the basement, where there is only a Ballista Wallbuy. And there are like 6.000 points worth of doors before you can get to another Wallbuy, and 4.000 more before you can get to Jugg. Plus the price of those things. You will be in the tight basement for a few rounds buddy! This map demands a lot of hording skill and a bit of luck on the beginning, but gets easier the more you go up the rounds (because you get set up), so its a really interesting and fun map that you should try out at least a few times.Check it out here:#6 Super Mario 64 Zombies. I remember playing Super Mario 64 on my DS every single day, beating it over and over again, getting all the stars and finding all the secrets (Youtube didn't have that kind of videos at the time).

Zywall application patrol license. And then a few weeks ago I see this map on the Forum, I play it a few times, and i´m like: WOW.This makes the original kid friendly sunny castle, into an awesome zombie slaughtering fun-house, with 8 Perks, a ton of different weapons, some cool teleporting mechanics, and Bowser who only has more health than the zombies. The only downside to this map is that there are a lot of doors and they all cost to much; but apart from that, this map is really cool, and you should give it a shot;).Check it out here:#7 Alien Defense V1.1. Ok, this map is something different.

Essentially the zombies don't go after you, but you cant go around the whole map,and the goal is to kill the hordes of zombies before they get to the teleporter. It has perks, PaP and the Box, but it is also really challenging to hold off the almost never ending hordes of zombies. It requires a lot of precision and strategy, and I find its a really nice concept. Play it with your friends and have a nice time.Check it out here:So those were some of my favorite maps to download, but now i´m going to show you how to do it!You will need an official copy of Call of Duty: World at War, so no pirated copies,it doesn't matter if its physical or digital, just has to be official.

How To Get Waw Zombies

Then you want to have the game installed and find the folder C:Users(Name of your User)AppDataLocalActivisionCoDWaWmods. There will be all the mods that you install. You want to download a map from www.zombiemodding.com or ugx-mods.com, since they will be installed in the folder with a few clicks. But if you download a map from any external site, you will have to extract or put it in that folder. I also recommend getting the UGX- Map manager from this site: ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php/topic,49.0.html, since it makes downloading and launching way easier.

If you have the cut version (when you buy it on Steam in Germany, Australia, New Zealand and some other countries) it will seem that everything is OK, until you try to play the map. Most of the maps (90%) need resources that are only available in the original uncut version. So download this (an uncut patcher which literally makes your cut version into uncut) and extract it on an empty folder (better for orientation). Then extract all the files with WinRAR and a.exe file will appear called CallOfDutyWaWUCPV4.exe.

That's THE ONLY THING you want to click. Click on it, accept everything, and wait until its done. Now, every time you open WAW again, it will say uncut version. And this will also allow you to play zombies with no borders. If it has errors, reinstall the cut game and repeat the process. So if you enjoyed this Blog make sure to Upvote it!

And if you have some suggestions, tell me in the comments. Also if you would like to play Zombies with me, my Steam ID is kylenator. I will be posting more often from now on, so stay tuned for a fun time! Thanks and Bye.-Kyle;-).

Well, due to the abundance of Zombie/Multiplayer mods/maps being released, and the few of you who have been having trouble installing these mods. I’m going to show you guys how to install these maps.First of all, make sure you have the latest patch installed ( 1.0.1017). Once installed, go to your COD:WAW “mods” folder. (If you don’t have one, make one in your COD:WAW program folder)If you have XP, you should find it here:C:Documents and SettingsYOURPROFILELocal SettingsApplication DataActivisionCoDWaWmodsFor Vista, it should be here:C:UsersYOURPROFILEAppDataLocalActivisionCoDWaWmodsNext, put the mods you want into that folder (The whole folder for the mod, not the individual files inside the mod you download). Now open your Singleplayer/Co-op exe. Click the “Mods” tab in the main menu, and launch the map you wish to play. After that, you can either join a game with others that have the same map/mod, or host your own. When you host one, make a lobby and invite whoever else who has the map/mod. Then go into “game setup” and change the game to Zombie mode.

The map should be listed on the bottom right. For single player games, just type “map” and the name of the map/mod after it. For example “map NazizombiAnzio”Additional Note: If you are using a crack for the game, that may be the reason why the mod isn’t working.
